Howdy, partner.
Welcome to The High Nooners — a rough-and-ready band of cowpokes, outlaws, ranch hands, gunslingers, and other assorted varmints who have somehow wandered into the Middle Ages.
Now, we’ll be the first to tell ya: a six-shooter is far superior to a longbow. Faster, louder, and considerably more persuasive.
Unfortunately, the folks who made this here game didn’t see fit to give us one.
So we reckon we’ll work with the tools we’ve been given. Swords? Fine. Axes? Sure. Catapults? Darn tootin’. If that’s what they’re handing out, we’ll use it.
We don’t much care for fancy titles, complicated schemes, or folks who talk too much. We saddle up, ride together, and make sure our neighbors know when the clock strikes HIGH NOON.
So grab your sword, mount whatever passes for a horse around here, and keep your powder dry.
